Meet The Team

Todd Manton, Co-owner / Operator

Armed with a degree in Ecotourism in Outdoor Leadership, Todd has been in the industry since 2007. He has worked in the Okanagan zipline industry for five years before cofounding Kokanee Mountain Zipline.

Jay Manton, Co-owner / GM

An engineer (BC/AB) by trade, Jay was seeking a new challenge that included his passion for the outdoors. Partnering with his brother Todd, he found it in Kokanee Mountain Zipline.

Allen Rollin, Course Manager

Allen’s experience as an ecotourism guide in whitewater rafting, ziplining and back-country hiking makes him well-suited for the role of Head Guide.

Melissa Maida, Office Manager

Mel graduated from SAIT with a business diploma with a specialization in human resources.  Her skills she learned in school helps keep a fun atmsophere with all our guests and keeps the tours rolling.

Sustainability

As the original zipline company in the West Kootenay, we’re situated on 44 acres of majestic old growth Douglas fir and pine forests. Without this remarkable setting, Kokanee Mountain Zipline just wouldn’t be the same.

That’s why we feel it’s our responsibility to have as little effect on the natural flora and fauna as possible. Everything from the original construction through to our day-to-day operations has been designed to minimize our impact on surrounding habitat.

We view this ecotourism endeavor as a tremendous opportunity to create awareness about BC’s natural environment, one tour at a time.
