About the Manton Brothers
With a mutual love of year-round outdoor adventures, Jay and Todd decided to pool their expertise in business, ziplining, and engineering, and opened Kokanee Mountain Zipline in 2015. With an abundance of local support, Kokanee Mountain Zipline was a great success, and the brothers went on to open their second course, Mineral Mountain Ziplines, in Fairmont Hot Springs in mid-2017. Together, they have been running zipline tours in British Columbia for over a decade.
As the original zipline company in the West Kootenay, we’re situated on 44 acres of majestic old growth Douglas fir and pine forests. Without this remarkable setting, Kokanee Mountain Zipline just wouldn’t be the same.
That’s why we feel it’s our responsibility to have as little effect on the natural flora and fauna as possible. Everything from the original construction through to our day-to-day operations has been designed to minimize our impact on surrounding habitat.
We view this ecotourism endeavor as a tremendous opportunity to create awareness about BC’s natural environment, one tour at a time.
